Wil and Liz are married with a
blended family of six children. They formed a joint therapy practice,
providing brief or long-term therapy for individuals, families, and
marriages and other intimate relationships. They teach classes in
couple communication skills, and have worked in several
community colleges as teachers and counselors. Both have worked with
high-risk and special-needs teens.
Wil’s special emphasis is men’s issues, creating a sense of community with
men’s groups and retreats and establishing the Dark-fish Men’s Council (www.darkfish.org).
He works with couples and families to resolve conflict and to renew and heal
relationships. Liz’s focus is to help women develop more confidence and
assertion in their personal lives and careers. She has worked with survivors
of abuse and as a family therapist in a twelve-step addiction and
rehabilitation facility.
Wil has a master’s degree from Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond,
Indiana, and a doctorate from the Claremont School of Theology in
California. Liz has her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Oakland
University in Michigan. Both are licensed Marriage and Family Therapists in
the state of California. |
